Hi there, I'm Patty, the owner of Sugarbird Stitching, and I'm so glad you're here! I'm based in sunny San Antonio, Texas where my husband and I are embracing  our empty-nester chapter by embarking on travel adventures with our hounds Mildred and Austin.

My quilting journey began as a way for me to express my love for family and friends. As my kids grew older, I wanted to make something special for them and I decided to make each of them a quilt. I instantly fell in love with all things quilty! As friends and family were getting married and welcoming new babies, I began making quilts for them too. I find such joy in celebrating special moments with loved ones!

 

My mission is to create quilts that will be cherished for generations.
