WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Backing

Please press and square your backing so that it loads smoothly on the frame. I require the backing to be 4" extra ON ALL SIDES.

For example, if you have a quilt top that is 60" x 80", your backing should measure at least 68" x 88". It can be bigger, just  not smaller. Extra fees may apply if I need to put extra time and effort into getting your quilt ready to load. If you have questions, please ask.

I'm passionate about being able to give you results you will love. Teamwork! :)

Batting

If you choose to provide your own high quality batting, I require the batting to be at least 2.5" extra ON ALL SIDES. For example, if you have a quilt that is 60" x 80", your batting should measure at least 65" x 85". It can be bigger but not smaller.

Quilt Top

Please press your quilt top and mark the top edge with a pin to help ensure it's loaded correctly. Please also clip stray threads or raveling fabrics as best as you can. You might not be able to get them all, but to prevent dark threads from shadowing through your quilt top, please don't skip this important step! Please take a moment to check your quilt for open seams and repair them before sending it in. This helps ensure everything quilts smoothly and turns out beautifully.  Extra fees may apply if I need to put extra time and effort into getting your quilt ready to load.

Have Fun!

My goal is to keep this process fun and stress-free! If design choices feel overwhelming, we can collaborate, or I'm happy to take care of the details. It all comes down to what you want from your quilt- sometimes "done" is perfect!
